Study on Preparation of Lubricating Oil Additives with Phosphorous Pentasulfide
The lubricating oil additives which are very important downstream products from phosphorous pentasulfide play a very important role on the development of phosphorous pentasulfide industry. For promoting the development of phosphorous pentasulfide industry, the study on preparation of lubricating oil additives with phosphorous pentasulfide was conducted. It can be shown from the study that lubricating oil additives which are the high-end products in the downstream products of phosphorous pentasulfide have a large consumption of phosphorous pentasulfide which have a large ratio in the total consumption of phosphorous pentasulfide. And the quality of phosphorous pentasulfide used for preparatiing lubricating oil additives must be high. The lubricating oil additives from phosphorous pentasulfide mainly have functions such as friction improvement, viscosity index improvement, wear resistance, dispersion, oxidation resistance and so on,and can be classified to single-function lubricating oil additives and multifunction lubricating oil additives.Although the single-function lubricating oil additives can improve significantly single function of lubricating oil additives, there are disadvantages for the single-function lubricating oil additives, such as many various types and large consumption of single-function lubricating oil additives, inconvenient use and high cost and so on,when multiple functions of lubricating oil need to be conducted. While multiple functions of lubricating oil can be realized using a multifunction lubricating oil additive with smaller consumption of multifunction lubricating oil additive, convenient use and high cost and so on.The multifunction lubricating oil additives are the trend and hotpot of development of lubricating oil additives,Therefore, the more attentions should be put on preparation of multifunction lubricating oil additives with phosphorous pentasulfide.
