Research Progress in Biodegradability of Magnesium Alloys
As a biodegradable material with great potential,magnesium alloy implanted into human body can gradually disappear through dissolution,absorption and metabolism,avoiding the adverse effects caused by secondary surgery.In this paper,the relevant methods to solve the corrosion problem were described in detail by means of alloying treatment,heat treatment and surface modification.The corrosion problem was related to the biocompatibility problem which had been widely concerned.On the basis of previous studies,the analysis was further expanded,and combined with the existing problems in the current research,future research direction was put forward.
