三价砷可以在微生物燃料电池的阳极中被氧化为五价砷,该技术具有成本低、效率高、无二次污染等优点,有希望成为三价砷污染废水处理的一种新方法.介绍了微生物燃料电池处理砷废水的机制,分析了电化学过程和微生物在砷废水处理中的协同作用,提出了加强微生物燃料电池处理含砷废水效率和实际应用的可能途径.
Research Progress in Treating Arsenic Containing Wastewater by MFC
Trivalent arsenic can be oxidized to pentavalent arsenic in the anode of microbial fuel cell.This technology has the advantages of low cost,high efficiency,and no secondary pollution,and is expected to become a new method for treating trivalent arsenic contaminated wastewater.In this article,the mechanism of treating arsenic wastewater with microbial fuel cells was introduced,the synergistic effects of electrochemistry and microorganisms in the treatment of arsenic wastewater was analyzed,and possible ways to improve the efficiency and practical application of microbial fuel cells in treating arsenic wastewater were proposed.
