Research Progress in Modification and Application of Polyvinylidene Fluoride Membrane for Treatment of Dye Wastewater
Membrane-based wastewater treatment methods are gradually becoming the preferred technology for treating dye wastewater.Polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)membranes are widely popular due to their good properties.In this paper,the application of PVDF-based membranes in the removal of various synthetic dyes was exploreed;different preparation methods for obtaining high-performance PVDF membranes by surface coating and blending methods were discussed in detail,as well as the related research of PVDF-based membranes in adsorption,filtration and membrane distillation;the nano-materials added to PVDF membrane to enhance its properties were listed;the effects of nano-materials on the surface characteristics,hydrophilicity and crystallinity of PVDF membrane were discussed..
