The types,characteristics,flame retarding mechanism,application status and development trend of main inorganic and organic flame retardants were analyzed and summarized,the research status of flame retardants at home and abroad was introduced,the application status of different types of inorganic flame retardants and organic flame retardants was summarized,and suggestions for future research directions were put forward.
