Study on Performance of Green Tea Extract as Pickling Corrosion Inhibitor
Among the many metal corrosion inhibition methods, corrosion inhibitors have the advantages of low dosage, obvious effect, convenience and economy, etc.,which have attracted the great attention of researchers, and in recent years, plant extracts are the research hotspots due to their wide sources, green and environmental protection advantages. In this paper, ultrasonic extraction method was used to extract active substances from green tea as metal pickling corrosion inhibitor, and the weightlessness method was adopted to investigate its corrosion inhibition effect on carbon steel sheet in 1 mol·L-1 HCl solution, and through the single factor experiment and orthogonal test(L9(33))to investigate the corrosion inhibition efficiency of carbon steel sheet at different temperatures, different time and different concentrations of green tea extracts,in order to provide a certain degree of data support for the subsequent work.It was found that good corrosion inhibition efficiency of 88.60%was achieved at the experimental temperature of 30℃,the action time of 10 h and corrosion inhibitor dosage of 0.16 mg·mL-1.Finally,the corrosion inhibition mechanism was initially explored by infrared characterization.
