Research Progress in Salt Lake Lithium Extraction Processes
With the rapid development of electric vehicles,the demand for lithium resources increased dramatically.While mineable ore resources are scarce and extraction processes are complex,lithium resources are abundant in salt lake brines,making it economically important to improve the utilization of lithium-bearing salt lakes.In this paper,the nature,function,distribution and challenges of lithium resources were summarized,and the research progress of lithium extraction in salt lakes by precipitation,extraction,electrodialysis,electrochemistry and adsorption was discussed.
