Research Progress of Anode Materials for Microbial Fuel Cell
Microbial fuel cell(MFC)is regarded as a kind of bioelectrochemical system that can remove pollutants and generate electricity at the same time.As the place of microbial growth and propagation and the medium of electron transfer,the bioelectrochemical properties of anode have great influence on the electricity production performance of MFC system.Considering the limitations of different traditional anode materials,the research progress in anode modification and development of new biochar anode materials were reviewed,and the future research directions were prospected,so as to provide some reference for the development and popularization of microbial fuel cell technology.
