Study on Preparation of Polymeric Ionic Liquid and Its Adsorption of Chromium(Ⅵ)
Based on the unique adsorption properties of ionic liquids and the more practical characteristics of ionic liquid polymers,a novel adsorbent N-vinylimidazole polymer ionic liquid was prepared by emulsion polymerization. The adsorption effect of Cr(Ⅵ)was studied with Cr(Ⅵ)as the target pollutant. The adsorbent was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, transmission electron microscope and thermogravimetric analyzer. The results indicated that the material was successfully prepared. The synthesized adsorbent was used to adsorb simulated wastewater solution containing Cr(Ⅵ).When the initial pH of the solution was 2,the best adsorption effect of Cr(Ⅵ)was obtained. The adsorption reached equilibrium within 30 min;the experimental value of adsorption capacity was 233.4 mg·g-1.Adsorption of Cr(Ⅵ)by the N-PILs followed the Langmuir isotherm.
