Study on Preparation of Barium-Zinc Ferrite Diatomaceous Earth and Its Wave Absorption Properties
With the development of internet technology, the problem of electromagnetic pollution becomes more and more serious. In this paper, the preparation of Ba0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4/diatomite and its wave-absorbing properties at different heat treatment temperatures were investigated to improve the electromagnetic pollution phenomenon. The Ba0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4/diatomite precursor was prepared by sol-gel method using citric acid as the complexing agent and heat-treated at 550℃,650℃and 750℃,respectively.The results of controlled tests at three groups of different heat treatment temperatures showed that spinel-type Ba0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 was uniformly and densely coated on the surface of diatomaceous earth,in which the ferrite at the heat treatment temperature of 650℃had reflectance lower than-10 dB in the frequency range of more than 16 GHz,and the reflectance reached-22.13 dB at 13.05 GHz,showing good absorbing performance.
