Study on Low Temperature Properties of Microcapsule Self-Healing Cement-Based Materials
Self-healing microcapsules were prepared by physical method using epoxy resin(E-51),expanded portland cement as core material and ethyl cellulose as wall material.The influence of microcapsules on the strength of cement matrix under different dosage was studied.The self-healing properties of cement mortar at different repair ages and temperatures were studied.The test results showed that the compressive and flexural strength of cement mortar decreased with the increase of microcapsule content.In the early repair age,the strength repair rate at low temperature was lower than that at normal temperature.The sample with 3%microcapsule had good repair effect in low temperature environment.
