Research Progress in Organic-Inorganic Composite Coatings
The single performance of organic(inorganic)coatings can no longer meet the social needs. After compound hybridization of different organic components and inorganic components, the microstructure is relatively complex, the hybrid coating has the characteristics of multifunctional material, with complementary advantages between each component, forming a synergistic effect. In this article, the research advances of organic-inorganic composite coatings were introduced, including 4-phenylazo-o-cresol-inorganic coating for extraordinary corrosion resistance,silica/polydimethylsiloxane nanocomposite antiadhesive coating,copper-doped calcium silicate hydrate inorganic antibacterial coating,weathering-resistant sodium-based polymer inorganic coating. The four coatings have special properties through the hybridization of inorganic and organic components, and also have great application value and potential in the future market.
