Selection and Application of Catalysts for Claus Sulfur Recovery
The continuous development of industrialization in the world has led to an inevitable increase in energy consumption,while also causes serious exhaust pollution.The Claus process is a widely used technology for treating hydrogen sulfide-containing gases from the petroleum and natural gas industries to recover sulfur.The performance of catalysts plays a crucial role in the Claus process.In this article,the Claus sulfur recovery device and process principle were introduced,the classification,selection and application of catalysts used in the sulfur recovery process were further elucidated.
