Identification and Assessment of Livelihood Risks for Poverty-stricken Farmers of Different Livelihood Types in Shangluo City
Identifying and evaluating the livelihood risks of poverty-stricken farmers in mountainous areas is an important guarantee for preventing large-scale poverty return and promoting rural revitalization.Based on this,this article takes 174 poverty-stricken households from 8 administrative villages in 8 towns of Shangzhou Dis-trict,Shangluo City,Shaanxi Province as the survey objects,analyzes the livelihood risks of different types of poverty-stricken households,and the results show that the proportion of health risks in the total risk of house-holds in the sample area is the highest,while the policy risks are the lowest;The average age of the head of a pure agricultural household is the largest,the family size is the smallest,the labor force is the smallest,and the education level is the lowest;Non agricultural farmers have the largest family size and the largest number of household labor force;The total value of livelihood risks for farmers of different livelihood types is in the or-der of pure agricultural type>agricultural part-time type>non-agricultural type>non-agricultural part-time type.Pure agricultural farmers are the most vulnerable group in terms of livelihood among all types,with the greatest risk of returning to poverty.And propose corresponding risk prevention measures based on the differences in their risk characteristics,providing assistance for local prevention of large-scale poverty return.
