Energy structure of the 1s2np(2≤n≤9)Rydberg configuration for Ga28+ion
The wavefunctions of the 1s2np(2≤n≤9)Rydberg configuration for Ga28+ion are construc-ted with the full-core plus correlation method.The non-relativistic energies of the 1s2np(2≤n≤9)states for Ga284 ion are calculated with the Rayleigh-Ritz method.The fine structure splitting,the excited energy and ionization energy are obtained with the thoughtful considerations of the first-order relativistic effect,the mass-polarization effect,the higher-order relativistic effect and quantum-elec-trodynamics correction.It is satisfing to find the fine structure splitting calculated follows the regu-larity of the Rydberg configuration.The results calculated in this paper closely agree with the experi-mental data available in literature,which proves the accuracy and reliability of the method adopted in this work.
