Research on the influence of tourist-to-companion interaction on tourist's low-carbon consumption behavior
As the ultimate goal of production, the control of total carbon emissions ultimately needs to focus on energy conservation and carbon reduction at the consumer side.Hence tourist's low-carbon consumption behavior is increasingly valued.Guided by the affective events theory,a serial mediation model was constructed where tourist satisfaction and self-destination connection serve as mediators to investigate the influence of tourist-to-companion interaction on tourist's low-carbon consumption be-havior.Findings reveal that ①tourist-to-companion interactions positively impact tourist's low-carbon consumption behavior,②tourist-to-companion interactions positively impacttourist satis-faction and self-destination connection, and ③tourist satisfaction and self-destination serially mediate the influence of tourist-to-companion interactions on tourist's low-carbon consumption behavior.
