A study on the alignment between the People's Education Press textbook of Structure and Properties of Matter in high school chemistry and the curriculum standards based on the localized SEC model
Alignment between textbooks and curriculum standards is an important indicator fro assess-ing measure the quality of textbook compilation,as well as an important aspect of textbook research.Using the localized SEC analysis model,a alignment study was conducted on the 2021 edition text-books of Selective Compulsory 2 Structure and Properties of Matter for ordinary high school chem-istry published by People's Education Press and the Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High School Chemistry(2017 Edition,Revised in 2020),and is was found that there is a statistically sig-nificant consistency between the textbook and the curriculum standards.On this basis analyzes the distribution of textbook content and curriculum standards in terms of content theme and cognitive level,and puts forward some suggestions for teachers'teaching and textbook compilation.
