Force Deformation Analysis of Steel Bellows Culvert During the Construction of Low-Fill Roadbed
It is of great significance for culvert design and on-site construction plan to study the stress characteristics and deformation characteristics of steel bellows culvert during the dynamic construction pro-cess of low-fill subgrade.Taking Xinjin Expressway as an example,it is studied and analyzed the axial and tangential stress characteristics and deformation characteristics of the inner and outer walls of steel corru-gated pipe culverts during the dynamic construction of low-fill section and the distribution law of earth pressure at the top of the pipe with the height of the fill soil, and it is found that the change of earth pres-sure coefficient at the top of the pipe culvert reacts to the force transfer effect of soil arch formation, failure and new earth arch generation. The additional stress caused by the dragging effect of the side fill is the main reason why the soil pressure at the top of the pipe culvert is much greater than the soil pressure on the side.In the low-fill section, the strain at the top of the culvert is the largest, and the deformation is mainly reflected in the horizontal compression and vertical stretching, and finally the section of the culvert is elliptical deformation,so the protection of the top should be increased during the actual construction pro-cess.
