Deep learning is a meaningful learning based on understanding and pursuit of transfer applica-tions,emphasizing the use of advanced learning strategies to promote the generation of higher-order knowledge and abilities.The smart classroom built on digital technology is an important carrier for promot-ing students'transition from shallow learning to deep learning.Given the common problems of vague goals,shallow content,rigid teaching,and single assessment in current vocational college English teaching,the key is to organically combine deep learning with smart classroom construction,utilize the advantages of their integration,reshape teaching objectives,integrate teaching resources,flexible teaching methods,and optimize teaching evaluation,in order to assist in the innovative reform of vocational college English teaching models,promote the gradual evolution of vocational college English teaching classrooms towards vertical deepening,intelligence,and efficiency.
