The current"Technical Standards for Highway Engineering"emphasizes the leading role of highway traffic function in determining the technical standards and indicators of highway projects.In actual work,the author believes that it is also necessary to fully interpret and evaluate the functional positioning of highways in highway network planning and comprehensive three-dimensional transportation planning.This will help in determining the corridor of projects,coordinate development with the city,and the rational se-lection of technical indicators in various directions of hub nodes.This can provide some reference for future design.
