Safety education is an important component of ideological and political education in vocational colleges,which is related to the healthy development of every vocational college student and is the prereq-uisite and foundation for doing all other work well.The current security situation in vocational colleges is complex,and the pressure on safety education is unprecedentedly increasing.From the current situation of safety education in vocational colleges,there is still significant room for improvement in safety education work.It is necessary to combine the characteristics of students and changes in the times,clarify the necessi-ty and difficulties of safety education,explore effective educational strategies,ensure the personal and prop-erty safety of vocational students,and promote the healthy development of vocational education.
