Exploration of the Construction of Virtual Teaching and Research Rooms for English in Universities under the Background of the Metaverse
In the context of the metaverse,promoting the construction of virtual teaching and research rooms in university English is a practical requirement that leads policy planning and conforms to the devel-opment of the times.It is an effective way to optimize resource allocation and enhance educational equity,an objective need to broaden teaching and research channels,deepen teaching reform,and an inevitable choice to promote teacher construction and reconstruct teacher-student relationships.In the practical process of constructing a virtual teaching and research room for college English,it is necessary to clarify the con-struction goals,clarify the construction principles,and start from four aspects:the construction and sharing of teaching and research resources,the construction of virtual practice communities,platform development and scenario design,and the construction of normalized operating mechanisms.The overall construction framework of the virtual teaching and research room should be grasped to promote the high-quality devel-opment of college English teaching and research work.
