Naturalized athletes is the main mean to rapidly improve their performance under the law of modern competitive sports.However,the one-sided and shallow understanding of naturalized athletes leads to the aggravation of the social identity of naturalized athletes.Using the method of literature,this paper studies the current public's view of naturalized athletes.The research shows that although naturalized athletes can improve the level of international sports competition in China in the short term,the public's recognition of naturalized athletes is still insufficient,and it is necessary to help the public accept naturalized athletes from the perspective of social identity.In view of this,from the promotion of achievements to improve public acceptance;to demonstrate national prestige;enhance the identity of naturalized athletes;increase the frequency of communication,accommodate the identity of naturalized athletes and put forward coping strategies.
