This paper analyzes the difficulties and propulsion path of large sports events to help the tourism industry by using the method of literature review,and aims to build China into a country strong in sport,promote the Chinese sports culture,promote the coordinated development of sports and related industries,improve the image and influence of the city,and accelerate the development of economic development.It found that the lack of contribution to the development of tourism industry in large sports events was:a low stage of the game,and the sustainable development was weak;lack of characteristic sports culture,tourist brand popularization;high level sports competition is rare,sports project distribution imbalance;the sports facilities were idle after the game and the sports resources were wasted;the positioning of the event is unclear,and the homogenization competition is serious;the event guarantee mechanism lags behind,the risk coping ability is weak.In order to fully play the effect of large sports events,we will promote the development of tourism in China and propose a long-term management mechanism to avoid a low ebb of the game;to explore the cultural connotation of characteristics and strengthen the interaction between events and cities;reasonable norms sports competition,create sports brand events;to fully develop the stadium and excavate the derivative functions of facilities;innovative sports tourism products,realize service consumption upgrade;and we will promote the elaboration of the management of risk and improve the mechanism of competition prevention.
