Analysis of men's competitive gymnastics strength in Paris Olympic Games and the strategy study of China's preparation for Los Angeles Olympic Games
By using the methods of documentary data, video observation and mathematical statistics, this paper makes an analysis of the status and competitive ability of men's competitive gymnastics in the 33rd Paris Olympic Games, aiming to comprehensively evaluate the current competitive pattern of men's gymnastics, and provide reference for the development strategies and suggestions of Chinese men's competitive gymnastics team in the cycle of preparing for Los Angeles Olympic Games. The research findings show that:1)The Chinese men's gymnastics team performed excellently in the tournament, ranking first on the medal table, showcasing China's world-class level in men's competitive gymnastics.2)In the men's team event,China's advantage in the rings and parallel bars was obvious, with a substantial lead in the total score, but there were two serious mistakes in the pommel horse event, which became the main reason for China not winning the gold medal.3)The competition in the all-around event was particularly intense, with the top three spots being taken by athletes from China and Japan, highlighting the deep foundation of both countries in the cultivation of top all-around athletes.4)The individual events showed a trend of multiple strong teams emerging, with some small gymnastics nations also beginning to rise. The Filipino gymnastics athlete won two gold medals in a row, marking the beginning of a new era of fierce competition among strong teams in individual events. In light of the above analysis, the following strategies are proposed for China's men's competitive gymnastics team to prepare for the Los Angeles Olympic Games:grasp the laws and principles, constantly break through and innovate;coordinate development and comprehensively improve the athletes'competitive level;increase training efforts to build up the reserve of top level athletes;and conduct scientific training to reduce the incidence of injuries among athletes.
