Research on nutritional value of alfalfa for Huoyan goose
Eighteen Huoyan goose were used to investigate the nutritional value of alfalfa for Huoyan goose. The animals were randomly divided into two groups: treat-ment Ⅰand treatmentⅡ feed with fresh grass and dry respectively, and the digest-ibility of general nutrients and the parameters in CNCPS. The result showed that the apparent digestibility of CP, EE, Ca, P and ASH in fresh alfalfa were higher dry, and a extremely significant (P<0.01)difference existed in ASH between fresh and dry. Apparent digestibility of CF, NDF, ADF in fresh were all higher than dry and a significant (P<0.05) difference existed in NDF, but apparent digestibility of GE in fresh was lower (P>0.05)than dry. Only apparent digestibility of starch in fresh was extremely(P<0.01)higher than dry in CNCPS, and there were no differ-ence in other components.
