Study on in vitro insecticidal effect of ozone on Scuticociliates
The killing effect of ozone in vitro against the representative Scuticociliates pathogen Uronema marinum was investigated. In the experiment, different concentrations of ozone seawater were obtained by injecting ozone at different times into artificial seawater, and the Uronema marinum was killed. The results showed that seawater solution with salinity of 30‰ and ozone concentration of 0.54 mg/L could completely kill 20 000 ind/mL of Uronema marinum. When seawater with salinity of 20‰,25‰ and 30‰ were injected with ozone for 10 minutes, the ozone concentration in the water was all higher than 0.80 mg/L,which could completely kill the Uronema marinum in the environment. After 10 min of ozone was injected into seawater with salinity of 15‰,the ozone concentration could reach 0.54 mg/L,which could completely kill Uronema marinum in the environment. The study indicates that ozone has an obvious killing effect on Uronema marinum, which provided a reference for the subsequent research on green control technology of Scutellariasis.
