Molecular biological identification and analysis of Thaleria annulata in a cattle farm in Kashgar
The purpose of the experiment was to identify the etiology of Simmental cattle in a cattle farm in Kashgar, and to detect the blood of cattle suspected to be infected with Thaleria by PCR.The 18S rRNA gene was amplified and sequenced by PCR,the phylogenetic tree was constructed by MEGA 7.0 software, and the genetic evolution was analyzed at the same time. The results showed that the sequence of 18S rRNA gene was 100.0%homologous to that of Theleria annulata isolated from Xinjiang,China(OM438135.1),indicated that the infected cattle were infected with Theleria annulata.Phylogenetic tree analysis showed that the strain was closely related to Chinese and Pakistani isolates. The study indicates that the pathogen causing the disease of Simmental cattle in a cattle farm in Kashgar is Thaleria annulata.
