Research progress on molecular mechanism related to animal melanin formation
Animal melanin is a kind of macromolecular material with complex chemical structure,which is mainly deposited in the skin,tissues and hair of animals.Exploring the mechanism of melanin formation not only lays a theoretical foundation for cultivating economic animals,but also provides a basis for the treatment of melanoma diseases.The article reviews the origin of melanin,its signal factors involved in the formation process and its biological functions,in order to provide reference for the related research of melanin and the clinical diagnosis and treatment of melanoma and other diseases.
