Isolation, identification and drug susceptibility test of chicken Escherichia coli in Qinhuangdao area
The aim of the experiment was to understand the drug resistance of chicken Escherichia coli in Qinhuangdao area of Hebei Province, and to provide a reference for the drug scheme of chicken colibacillosis in the area.Samples of dead chickens suspected to be infected with Escherichia coli were collected from chicken farms in Qinhuangdao City. The isolates were identified by bacterial isolation culture,Gram staining, and PCR,and drug susceptibility test was carried out.The results showed that a total of 18 Escherichia coli strains were detected, and the isolates were sensitive to gentamicin and butanicana. It was moderately resistant to piperacillin, cefoperazone, carbenicillin, and ceftriaxone, with resistance rates ranging from 33.33%to 50.00%.It was highly resistant to penicillin, ceftazidime, oxacillin, erythromycin, cefradine, and cephalexin, and the resistance rate was 94.44%~100.00%.Studies have shown that the sensitivity of local chicken Escherichia coli to commonly used antibiotics should be detected from time to time in order to adjust drug use quickly and avoid drug resistance.
