Clinical diagnosis and treatment report of a case of canine thrombocytopenia
Thrombocytopenia refers to the condition caused by the number of platelets lower than the normal range,which can be seen in the course of primary immune thrombocytopenia,aplastic anemia and other hematologic diseases,autoimmune diseases complicated by hematologic injury,infectious diseases,and tumor radiotherapy and chemotherapy.The standard first-line treatment for thrombocytopenia is glucocorticoids,but the recurrence rate is high and adverse reactions are prone to occur.Once the above conditions occur,second-line treatment options are often chosen,such as immunosuppressants such as rituximab and cyclosporine A.The article records the treatment process of a dog with thrombocytopenia who underwent first-line and second-line combination therapy,in order to improve the clinical cure rate of the disease and reduce the recurrence.
