Diagnosis and treatment of acute renal failure in a dog
In recent years,the incidence of kidney failure in animals has increased year by year,and it is common in young and old animals.A 4-year-old Teddy weighing 4 kg showed symptoms such as mental deterioration,loss of appetite and vomiting,so clinical examination,routine blood examination,biochemical examination and ultrasound examination were performed.The results of routine blood examination showed that there was an inflammatory reaction in the dog.The results of blood biochemical examination showed that the white globulite ratio was low,and the alkaline phosphatase,urea nitrogen,creatinine,phosphorus,and other indicators were elevated,and kidney problems were suspected.An ultrasound was then performed to determine that he had acute kidney failure.After a period of medication,the dog recovered.In the paper,the symptoms,test results and treatment methods of the case are analyzed and discussed,in order to provide a reference for veterinary clinical treatment of acute renal failure.
