Research progress on advantages and application of traditional Chinese medicine fermentation technology in livestock production
Traditional Chinese medicine fermentation technology is a traditional Chinese medicine processing method using microbial fermentation.Using microorganisms to ferment Chinese herbs or their extracts as substrates under appropriate temperature,humidity,pH,and inoculant amount,the utilization rate of their active ingredients can be improved,so as to achieve the effects of enhancing drug efficacy,reducing toxic side effects,saving medicinal materials resources,and protecting the environment.With the development of modem fermentation technology,microbial fermentation of traditional Chinese medicine has been studied more deeply and has shown great advantages in animal husbandry production.In this paper,the advantages and application of TCM fermentation technology in animal husbandry were reviewed,and the application prospect of TCM fermentation technology in animal husbandry was prospected.
