Analysis of E.coli isolation, identification, drug susceptibility test and biofilm screening results in milk samples
The purpose of the study was to understand the incidence of mastitis in a dairy farm in southern Xinjiang, and to provide a reference for the treatment of mastitis in dairy cows in this farm.38 milk samples from a dairy farm in southern Xinjiang were tested for LMT diagnostic solution, and positive samples of LMT were isolated and cultured for bacteria, drug sensitivity test and biofilm screening. The results showed that among 38 samples,15 milk samples were positive, accounting for 39.5%,and 23 milk samples were negative, accounting for 60.5%.62 strains of E.coli were isolated and identified from positive samples. The strains were highly sensitive to gentamicin and resistant to spectinomycin, and no positive biofilm was obtained. The study indicated that E.coli in the field was not resistant to 11 antibiotics commonly used to treat E.coli mastitis in dairy cows,so ceftazidime could be selected for clinical treatment.
