Curve fitting analysis of laying rate and cumulative egg number of Xiaowan chickens
In order to investigate the laying rule of Xiaowan chickens,206 Xiaowan chickens aged from 22 to 56 weeks were used as research materials to determine their laying performance.Wood model,Yangning model,compartment model,and cubic equation were used to fit and analyze the egg production rate of Xiaowan chickens,respectively.Logistic,Gompertz and Bertalanffy models were used to fit and analyze the cumulative egg production of Xiaowan chickens,and the fitting values were compared with the actual observed values respectively,and the best model was selected according to the fitting degree R2.The results showed that the Yangning model(R2=0.967)was the best fit for laying rate curve of Xiaowan chickens,followed by the cubic equation(R2=0.899),compartment model(R2=0.871),and Wood model(R2=0.967).The fitting value of the Bertalanffy model for the cumulative egg production of Xiaowan chickens was 0.998,the Gompertz model was 0.996,and the Logistic model was 0.988.The fitting effect of the Bertalanffy model was the best.The fitting age of the turning point was 33.91 weeks,and the number of eggs laid at the turning point was 34.96.Research has shown that in the production practice of Xiaowan chickens,the Yangning model and Bertalanffy model can be used respectively to fit the egg production rate and cumulative egg production of Xiaowan chickens,and to evaluate and predict their egg production patterns.
