Feeding value and application prospect in animal husbandry of Pennisetum giganteum
Pennisetum giganteum has fast growth,high yield,high nutritional value and strong stress resistance.As a high-quality forage,it is widely used in livestock and poultry breeding,providing new impetus for the breeding industry.The use of Pennisetum giganteum as unconventional feed resources is more and more extensive,not only as staple food feed,but also as supplementary feed to provide a comprehensive nutrition supply for livestock and poultry.At the same time,macrophyta also plays an important role in improving the immunity of livestock and poultry,improving the intestinal health of livestock and poultry,and reducing the impact of livestock and poultry excrement on the environment.As a feed used in the raising of pigs,cattle,sheep and other domestic animals,it can obviously improve the growth rate of domestic animals and make the meat more delicious.In this paper,the feeding value and the influencing factors of silage fermentation were reviewed,and its application in livestock production was reviewed,in order to provide some references for the establishment of silage fermentation technology and its application in animal husbandry.
