Isolation, identification and antibiotic resistance analysis of Clostridium perfringens from Liaoning cashmere goat
The bacterial isolation and identification of Liaoning cashmere goats suspected of Clostridium perfringens infection were studied in order to provide a reference for scientific prevention and control of Clostridium perfringens in the breeding process of Liaoning cashmere goats in southern Liaoning. The fecal anal swabs of diarrhea Liaoning cashmere goats and intestinal contents of diarrhea dead sheep were collected, and staining microscopic examination,PCR amplification, sequencing, and drug sensitivity test were carried out in combination with clinical symptoms. The results showed that the samples were confirmed as Clostridium perfringens infection by bacterial isolation and culture, staining and microscopic examination, differential culture and PCR identification. The results of drug sensitivity test showed that the isolates were resistant to erythromycin, tetracycline and norfloxacin, and sensitive to florfenicol, chloramphenicol and piperacillin. The study indicates that Clostridium perfringens is the pathogen causing diarrhea and death in Liaoning cashmere goat farm, which can be used according to the results of drug sensitivity test to avoid drug resistance affecting the treatment effect.
