Effects of different planting modes on the yield and quality of sweet sorghum
The purpose of this experiment was to explore the effects of different planting patterns on the yield and quality of sweet sorghum, and to provide reference for selecting suitable planting patterns of sweet sorghum in Kashgar. The yield and quality of sweet sorghum under three different cropping patterns(sweet sorghum+Dolichos lablab, sweet sorghum+silage corn)in one year were analyzed. The results showed that the yield and quality of sweet sorghum in different planting patterns were quite different. The fresh grass yield of sweet sorghum monoculture was 93.75 t/hm2,which was significantly higher than the other two planting patterns(P<0.05).The hay yield of sweet sorghum+silage corn mixed cropping group was the highest, which is 30.92 t/hm2.The content of crude protein, crude fat and total phosphorus in the mixed forage of sweet sorghum+Dolichos lablab was significantly higher than that of the other two groups(P<0.05),while the content of neutral detergent fiber was significantly lower than that of the other two groups(P<0.05).Acid detergent fiber content of sweet sorghum monoculture group was significantly higher than that of two mixed cropping groups(P<0.05).The study indicates that the quality of sweet sorghum+Dolichos lablab mixed forage grass is the best, which can be used as a high-quality forage planting mode selection and provide technical support for bean-grain mixed forage grass in Kashgar.
