Application and status analysis of vaccines in the prevention and control of porcine viral diseases
The epidemic of porcine viral infectious diseases has led to severe economic losses in the breeding industry, and the development and refinement of vaccines have become a crucial solution to this problem. This article reviews the research progress of commercialized vaccines for several common porcine viral infectious diseases in China in recent years, including classical swine fever(CSF),porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome(PRRS),and African swine fever(ASF).It encompasses various types of vaccines such as traditional inactivated vaccines, subunit vaccines, and recombinant vaccines.Among them,a variety of cutting-edge biotechnological vaccines have demonstrated significant potential in terms of protective efficacy and safety. The application of genetic engineering and biotechnology has also offered new perspectives for vaccine development.
