chlorogenic acid,loganic acid,and rutin in Eucommia folium extract by HPLC
The study aimed to establish a method for the simultaneous determination of loganic acid,chlorogenic acid,iridoid glycosides and rutin,in Eucommia folium extract by high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).The experiment utilized an Agilent ZORBAX SB-C18 column,with acetonitrile-0.4%phosphoric acid solution as the mobile phase,a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min,column temperature at 30℃,injection volume of 10 μL,and detection wavelength at 235 nm.The results indicated that the four components exhibited good linearity within the tested range,with average spiked recovery rates of 100.8%to 103.0%and relative standard deviations(RSD)of 0.90%to 2.37%.There were certain differences in the content of the four components in Eucommia folium extract from different manufacturers.The study demonstrated that the established method is simple to operate,stable,reliable,and has good repeatability,making it suitable for quality control of Eucommia folium extract.
