Effects of compound functional Bacillus preparation on the growth performance,immunity,and anti-infection ability of carp
The experiment aimed to investigate the effects of adding a compound Bacillus preparation to the feed on the growth performance,immune indicators,and anti-infection ability of carp.A total of 540 carp were selected and randomly divided into six groups,with three replicates per group and 30 carp per replicate.The experimental groups were fed a basic diet,and each experimental group was fed a basic feed supplemented with 500,1000,2000,3000 mg/kg of the compound Bacillus preparation.The pre-feeding period was 14 days,and the formal experimental period was 56 days.The results showed that compared with the control group,the weight gain rate,specific growth rate,and fatness degree of carp in the 2000 mg/kg addition group and 3000 mg/kg addition group were significantly increased(P<0.05).The activity of lysozyme(LZM),alkaline phosphatase(ALP),and the content of immunoglobulin M(IgM),complement C3,and total protein(TP)in the serum of carp were significantly increased(P<0.05).The specific growth rate and fatness degree of carp in the 1000 mg/kg addition group were significantly increased(P<0.05),and the serum LZM,ALP activity,and IgM content were significantly increased(P<0.05).The mortality rate of all addition groups was significantly reduced(P<0.05),and the survival rate was significantly increased(P<0.05).The weight gain rate,specific growth rate,and fatness degree of carp in the 3000 mg/kg addition group were significantly higher than those in the 500 mg/kg addition group and 1000 mg/kg addition group(P<0.05).The serum C3 content in the 2000 mg/kg addition group and 3000 mg/kg addition group was significantly higher than that in the 500 mg/kg addition group and 1000 mg/kg addition group(P<0.05).The mortality rate of the 2000 mg/kg addition group and 3000 mg/kg addition group was significantly lower than that of the 500 mg/kg addition group and 1000 mg/kg addition group(P<0.05),and the survival rate was significantly higher than that of the 500 mg/kg addition group and 1000 mg/kg addition group(P<0.05).The study inidcates that there was no significant difference in the indexes between the two groups when the dosage of compound Bacillus preparation was 2000 and 3000 mg/kg.Therefore,it is suggested that the optimal dosage of compound Bacillus preparation in practical production and application is 2000 mg/kg.
