Detection and analysis of porcine pseudorabies virus antibodies in some regions of Xinjiang from 2022 to 2023
The experiment aimed to understand the infection status of wild pseudorabies virus(PRV)and the level of immune antibodies in pig populations in some regions of Xinjiang from 2022 to 2023.An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)kit was used to test for antibodies against two proteins,PRV-gE and PRV-gB,in 510 serum samples from 13 large-scale pig farms in six regions of Xinjiang. The results showed that from 2022 to 2023,the average positive rate of PRV-gE protein antibodies in some regions of Xinjiang was 21.76%(111/510),with significant differences in the average positive rates of PRV-gE protein antibodies among different regions and large-scale pig farms. The average positive rate of PRV immune antibodies in large-scale pig farms in the Xinjiang region was 59.41%(303/510),which is lower than the national standard(70%).Only 38.46%(5/13)of the pig farms reached the national standard for immune antibody positivity, with significant differences in PRV immune antibody positive rates among different regions and large-scale pig farms. The study indicates that from 2022 to 2023,the infection rate of PRV wild virus in some regions of Xinjiang remains at a high level, with a low rate of immune compliance, posing a significant risk, and there is a need to strengthen immunization and prevention measures against PRV.
