Research Progress on physiological function of Astragalus polysaccharide and its application in chicken production
Astragalus polysaccharides(APS),a plant polysaccharide extracted from radix Astragalus radix,has many physiological functions such as immunomodulatory,anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,antiviral and antibacterial functions.As a new feed additive,polysaccharides are of great application potential in livestock and poultry production.This article mainly discusses the physiological function of APS and its application in chicken production,in order to provide a reference for the rational development and popularization of APS.
