Isolation and identification of pathogenic bacteria from Patinopecten yessoensis and its prevention and treatment with compound Chinese herbal medicine
The purpose of this study was to investigate the feasibility of compound Chinese herbal medicine for preventing and treating impetigo of Patinopecten yessoensis. The pathogenic bacteria were isolated and purified from the lesion site of Patinopecten yessoensis. The antibacterial effect of the compound Chinese herbal medicine was detected by in vitro test, and the control effect of the compound Chinese herbal medicine on the pathogenic bacteria was detected by artificial response test. The results showed that the pathogen was identified as Shewanella algae by physiological, biochemical and molecular biology. The strain was highly sensitive to 10 drugs such as ceftriaxone, amtronam and ofloxacin, but was not sensitive to sporacetine and cefalothiophene. The MIC and MBC of compound Chinese herbal medicine were 0.625 g/L and 1.25 g/L,respectively.The addition of compound Chinese herbal medicine in the diet could significantly reduce the bacteria content in the body of Patinopecten yessoensis(P<0.05),significantly increase the antioxidant enzyme activity of Patinopecten yessoensis(P<0.05),and reduce the mortality of Patinopecten yessoensis. The study showed that the method of adding compound Chinese herbal medicine to the feed can prevent and control the impetigo of Patinopecten yessoensis induced by Shewanella algae, which is a good application prospect.
