Feline infectious peritonitis(FIP)is a potentially fatal disease caused by mutations in the coronavirus(FCoV),characterized by fluid accumulation of high protein content in the body cavity,necrotic granulomatous vasculitis,and inflammatory lesions in multiple organs.This article introduces the pathogenic characteristics,epidemic characteristics,clinical symptoms,pathological changes and diagnosis and treatment methods of FIP,in order to provide reference for the prevention and treatment of the disease.
