Research progress of ivermectin in the treatment of canine breast tumor
Canine mammary tumor is a common malignant tumor in dogs,and its incidence is increasing year by year,which seriously affects the health and quality of life of dogs.Traditional treatment methods include surgical resection,chemotherapy and radiotherapy,but these methods have certain side effects and limitations.In recent years,ivermectin,as a new antitumor drug,has gradually attracted the attention of researchers.This article reviewed relevant literature,briefly described the anti-tumor mechanism of ivermectin,and discussed the application and research progress of ivermectin in the treatment of canine breast tumor,in order to provide references for clinical practice.
