Diagnosis,treatment and discussion of a case of feline Aspergillus infection
Aspergillosis is not common in cats,but due to the increase of mycelia in the environment,host autoimmunity,breed differences and other reasons,the number of cats infected with Aspergillus is increasing.A diabetic cat was infected with Aspergillus,presenting symptoms such as increased nasal discharge,nasal swelling,sneezing,turbinolysis,third eyelid protrusion,and secondary systemic infection such as dehydration and loss of appetite.After infusion support therapy,adjustment of insulin dosage,oral amphotericin B systemic antifungal treatment,combined with local debridement,the prognosis of the cat is good.This article records and analyzes the process of diagnosis and treatment of this case,in order to provide reference for the diagnosis and treatment of Aspergillus infection in pets.
