Probiotics are a kind of live bacteria that can colonize and play a probiotic role in the intestinal tract of the host,and have a good regulatory effect on the intestinal tract,immune system and growth and development of animals.This paper reviewed the effects of probiotics on intestinal health and immunity of animals,and the practical application effects of probiotics in weaning piglets,fattening pigs and pregnant sows in the era of prohibition,so as to provide reference for the application and research of probiotics to protect animal body health and as feed additives.
