Knowledge graph visualization of Chinese studies on exercise interventions for Alzheimer's disease based on the Neo4j graph database
Objective To organize and present the domestic research literature on exercise interventions for Al-zheimer's Disease(AD),and to systematically analyze the theoretical progress and current state of research in this field. Methods The core journal articles on exercise interventions for AD in CNKI database were taken as the research ob-jects.Content analysis was used to sort out and analyze the research themes, methods, and conclusions, and the results were stored and visualized using the Neo4j graph database. Results Theoretical reviews on exercise interventions for AD in China accounted for 60%,while experimental studies accounted for about 24%.All experimental studies had concluded the effectiveness of exercise interventions for AD,with different forms of exercise and combined therapies proven to be ef-fective in various studies. But there was a lack of comparative studies on different frequencies and intensities of exercise. Most literature reviews were theoretical reviews of biological mechanisms and efficacy, with fewer systematic reviews,in-cluding only 8 meta-analyses and 1 knowledge map visualization analysis, lacking systematic comparative reviews on the ef-ficacy of different forms, intensities, and times of exercise. Conclusions Exercise can delay the pathological changes of AD through various mechanisms, and its dosage effects have been demonstrated. However, research on the regulatory ef-fects of different populations and exercise programs is not yet thorough, and the control of extraneous variables is not strict enough, which reduces the credibility and comparability of the studies.Additionally, there is a lack of systematic reviews on the efficacy of different exercise programs for treating AD.
