Observation on the effect of Xuerhebian combined with antispasmodic mode nursing in spastic hemiplegia after stroke
Objective To investigate the effect of Xuerhebian combined with antispasmodic mode nursing on spastic hemiplegia after stroke. Methods A total of 60 patients with spastic hemiplegia after stroke in the Second Affiliated Hos-pital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine from March to December 2022 were randomly divided into conventional group and Xu Erhe group with 30 patients in each group. The conventional group was given routine treatment and nursing and anti-spasticity nursing. On the basis of the conventional group,Xu Erhe group was treated with Tongbian Guasha by Xu Erhe technique, both groups were treated for 2 weeks. Before and after intervention, the Fugl-Meyer Motor Function Rating Scale(FMA)was used to assess motor function, the modified Ashworth Scale(MAS)was used to assess muscle tone, the modified Barthel index was used to assess activities of daily living, and the Chinese version of the Stroke Specific Quality of Life Scale(SS-QOL)was used to assess the quality of life. Results After intervention, the FMA score, the im-provement degree of lower extremity spasm, the Barthel index score and the SS-QOL scale score were higher than the con-ventional group(all P<0.05).Conclusion Xuerhebian combined with antispasmodic nursing can improve the muscle tone, motor function and daily living ability of patients with spastic hemiplegia after stroke.
